Built in the 18th century by the Princes Meli Lupi, lords of this lands, the Locanda has been restored with great care. Its original atmosphere is intact not only on the outside, but also on the inside. Antique furniture and paintings of the 17th century Italian School decorate the reception area, the hall and the restaurant while the brick-floor still spreads at heat from the kitchens to the surrounding rooms. And it is the kitchen that issues forth a chorus of aromas and flavours: from international dishes to numerous specialities of Parma cousine. Naturally the food is accompanied by best quality wines from the cellar. The shining set of copper ware hanging on the walls, the white linen, Christofle silverware and best quality china sparkle in the dining room. During the warmer weather, the spacious courtyard can house an elegant buffet for 300 persons.
